Ein weiterer Gin, der in einer sehr auffälligen und liebevoll gestalteten Flasche daher kommt und aus einer recht jungen Destillerie aus Schottland stammt.

Dieser Gin entsteht unter der Verwendung von insgesamt 7 Botanicals, wobei der Hersteller nur 3 dieser verrät (siehe Info unten). Beim Öffnen der Flasche strömen einem intensive Wacholder-Aromen entgegen, ein leichter Hauch von Pfeffer ist ebenfalls durchaus wahrnehmbar. Limette ist für mich nicht wahrnehmbar, hier muss erst Tonic Water hinzugegeben werden – dann entfalten sich auch die Zitrusaromen der verwendeten Limetten.
Auch bei diesem Gin möchte ich das Flaschendesign besonders erwähnen, da es liebevoll und mit Blick auf das Detail entwickelt wurde und definitiv ein Hingucker im Gin-Regal oder Schrank ist.
Alkoholgehalt: 44% vol.

Geschmacklich steht bei diesem Gin der Wacholder klar im Vordergrund, abgerundet und ergänzt um Aromen der Limette und einem Hauch Schärfe durch die verwendeten Pfefferkörner.
Die Limette kommt aber erst durch Zugabe von Tonic Water spürbar zum Vorschein.
Insgesamt ein sehr frischer, intensiver Gin mit fruchtigen Nuancen.

Ich kombiniere diesen Gin gerne mit milderen Tonics, wie beispielsweise dem FEVER-TREE Mediterranean Tonic Water – hierdurch kommen die Aromen des Gins besser zur Geltung.
