<p>Der Brockmans Intensely Smooth Premium Gin kommt in einer schwarzen, sehr elegant wirkenden 0,7L Flasche daher und fällt optisch auf jeden Fall im Gin-Regal auf. Der Verschluss ist ein einfacher Drehverschluss, der aber zuverlässig schließt.</p>

<p>Ich fand ihn von Anfang an sehr lecker, allerdings muss ich den diversen Bewertungen und Kommentaren im Netz bezüglich des Geschmacks inzwischen zustimmen: der Brockmans ist zwar fruchtig und lecker, die Aromen machen aber insgesamt tatsächlich eher einen unnatürlichen Eindruck. Hier dominieren die Aromen von <strong>Brombeeren und Blaubeeren</strong>.</p>

Dieser Duft kann aber auch schnell „kippen“ und ins unnatürliche, fast schon künstlich-limonadige abdriften. Das ändert sich auch nicht wesentlich, wenn der Brockmans im Glas ist und man Tonic Water hinzugibt. Wacholder-Noten sucht man auch hier eigentlich eher vergebens, sie treten nur sehr zurückhaltend auf, was bei der intensiv-fruchtigen Ausrichtung des Brockmans auch kein Wunder ist.</p>
<p>Wenn man den direkten Vergleich nicht hat, oder aber einfach einen milden, fruchtig-süßen, auf Beeren basierenden Gin, mag, wird hier sicherlich mit dem Brockmans glücklich und hat am Ende einfach einen leckeren Drink im Glas. Und auch ich trinke ihn von Zeit zu Zeit noch gerne – es soll somit nicht alles zu negativ wirken an dieser Stelle.</p>

Aber auch ein klassisches Thomas Henry oder FEVER-TREE passt hier wunderbar.</p>
